Course Objectives:
This three-day course, part of the ERASMUS Course (EMRI) on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), offers specialized training in Female and Breast MR-Imaging in the vibrant city of Vienna, Austria.

Formal lectures and interactive case-based workshops provide a balanced and practical learning experience. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills needed to perform, interpret, and report female pelvic and breast MRI examinations, with a strong focus on imaging techniques, normal and pathological findings, and current clinical guidelines.

Key Objectives:

• Interpret MRI findings using standardized clinical decision-support systems such as O-RADSTM and BI-RADSTM
• Apply structured reporting to improve diagnostic clarity and consistency

Lernziele:

Im Grundkurs Gefäßultraschall steht das Vermitteln der theoretischen Grundlagen, der praktischen Fertigkeiten und das Erkennen des Normalbefundes im Mittelpunkt.

Pathologische Befunde werden im theoretischen Teil veranschaulicht.

Standardisierte Durchführung des Gefäßultraschalles, Indikationen der Untersuchungen, Geräteeinstellungen, Dokumentation und Befunderstellung zu erlernen.

Praktische Übungen mit ausgiebig Zeit zum Üben in der Kleingruppe mit qualifizierten Tutoren (5 Teilnehmer pro Gerät und Tutor)

Mit 3D-Ultraschalltrainer

Der Ultraschallkurs entspricht den ÖGUM Richtlinien und kann für Zertifizierungen bei ÖGUM und Ärztekammer eingereicht werden.
Der Kurs ist mit 24 DFP-Punkten akkreditiert.

General description, scope and objectives of this webinar
The webinar will cover the optimisation of head and neck radiology protocols as well as focusing on practical issues, organisation challenges, sustainability and pitfalls regarding head and neck imaging. It is aimed at head & neck radiologists, radiologist residents/juniors, students and anyone who is interested in the ESHNR diploma or just wants to improve their skills in:
– Understanding head and neck protocols including dynamic maneuvers and appropriateness of usage
– Organisational challenges regarding a head and neck department
– Achieving a sustainable radiology practise
– Avoiding pitfalls in head and neck imaging

After watching the webinar, participants will be able to
– Choose the best-suited method for evaluating disorders of the head and neck
– Choose optimal imaging parameters for radiologic examinations of the head and neck
– Apply dynamic techniques to enhance diagnostic accuracy in the head and neck region
– Apply techniques to reduce exposure doses for CT examinations of the head and neck
– Supervise and design imaging protocols for CT and MRI examinations of the head and neck
– Recognise suboptimal image quality and its causes

Lernziele:

Durchführung von Abdomensonographien zur Detektion und Differenzierung häufiger Befunde und Erkrankungen.

Indikation der Untersuchung, Bildeinstellungen, Dokumentation und Befunderstellung zu erlernen.

Entscheiden zu können, inwieweit die eigenen Ergebnisse ausreichend sind, bzw. welche weiteren diagnostischen Schritte erforderlich und geeignet sind.
