Praktische Übungen mit ausgiebig Zeit zum Üben in der Kleingruppe mit qualifizierten TutorInnen (5 TeilnehmerInnen pro Gerät und TutorIn)
Es werden sowohl gesunde ProbandInnen untersucht, als auch Patientenkasuistiken anhand von
Bildern und Videoloops beurteilt und in der Gruppe diskutiert.

Lernziele:
– Durchführung von Abdomensonographien zur Detektion und Differenzierung häufiger Befunde und Erkrankungen.
– Indikation der Untersuchung, Bildeinstellungen, Dokumentation und Befunderstellung zu erlernen.
– Entscheiden zu können, inwieweit die eigenen Ergebnisse ausreichend sind, bzw. welche weiteren diagnostischen Schritte erforderlich und geeignet sind.
Der Ultraschallkurs entspricht den ÖGUM Richtlinien und kann für Zertifizierungen bei ÖGUM und Ärztekammer eingereicht werden. Der Kurs ist mit 20 DFP-Punkten akkreditiert.

Description:
The congress program will appreciate the potential synergies of a joint meeting, featuring a common track of educational and scientific lectures focusing on particularly interesting overlapping topics from both imaging fields – to be surrounded by a colorful bunch of lectures and workshops from all over cardiovascular and thoracic imaging.

As an ouverture, bi-lingual joint educational thoracic/cardiac imaging workshops of the Roentgen society of our host country (DRG) are planned the day before the meeting and will take the lead, preparing for a flying start into the main program.

Covering all formats of lectures from plenary sessions and state-of-the-art presentations to “hands on” in small groups, we will review and discuss the current best clinical practice and explore the future developments in our fields. We hope for stimulating and enjoyable discussions during the sessions, as much as during the informal features of the meeting, where there will be many opportunities for discussion, to meet and greet colleagues from many different horizons and backgrounds, to exchange, compare and learn. To take home new inspirations for your daily work and research and, last but not least, to establish new professional collaboration, networking and friendship.

Dear colleagues, dear friends of the MUNICH VASCULAR CONFERENCE (MAC),

We are delighted to cordially invite you to the 12th MUNICH VASCULAR CONFERENCE (MAC), which will take place on December 6-8, 2023. Since the pandemic is over, we are more than happy that the 12th MAC will be organized again as a face-to-face symposium here in Munich at the University Hospital of the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
The 12th MAC will continue to be a platform of mutual exchange between vascular clinicians and colleagues from translational and basic vascular research. Both sides will again benefit from each other.
In 2019 we experienced a record participation of more than 600 attendees, who again highly appreciated the choice of topics, the outstanding quality of the presentations from an outstanding faculty and the ideal opportunity for discussions. Since the 11th MAC attracted far more than 1.000 online-participants, the 12th MAC will also include some streamed main sessions live from the main auditorium.
Please have a look at our website, where all main topics are listed. You can see that the 12th MAC will address the whole spectrum of vascular diseases. Please consider also to submit an abstract and to present your own data and experiences to our multinational auditorium in one of the main or the poster sessions respectively. The “Short Communications” sessions will be reserved for case presentations or research projects in progress.
